Dave graduated from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans with a degree in accounting and went on to become a CPA. After graduation, he went into public accounting with a small CPA firm in Harvey, La., performing accounting and tax services for various clients.

After a few years, Dave tested the private side of accounting by going to work for his alma mater as the accounting manager, where he oversaw the accounting department. During this time, he kept his tax clients and became a self-employed CPA, picking up more clients over the years. Ever interested in broadening his offerings to include investment services, Dave eventually left the college and went to work in the wealth management arena along the Gulf Coast.

Through connections with advisors at Avantax Wealth Management®, formally 1st Global and HD Vest, Dave was recruited to join the CoSource office in New Orleans in 2021. Being a CPA, he is constantly recruiting possible 401K plans for the firm and leveraging his years of investment experience to offer various types of investments to his clients.
